OutQ What?

Posted on November 30, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

Well we were travelling to East Texas, and listening to Chris's new Sirius radio, mainly the OutQ stream. Funny people Derek and Romaine, and the topics are enlightening, as well as amusing. Got back and found that I can be listening to OutQ on the web. It's a great line up, if not a little… Continue reading

Friday evening

Posted on November 8, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

Well it's Friday evening, and I've just finished coffee and dinner (normal Friday evening antics). We had a good group tonight at coffee … more than I anticipated given the dampness we've been experiencing today. Looks like plans to do Six Flags are now off, which is good, as I didn't want to spend time… Continue reading

Is there a shredder in the house?

Posted on November 6, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

So much paper, and this is just for an essay on a play *sigh* After this, just one more paper to do – a research paper, and then it's over. Looking forward to getting this class over as it's part of the basics, so it's one less to worry about before graduating and moving on.… Continue reading

Mitigation Stuff

Posted on November 4, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

Finally I've gotten the draft report out to the creek group and board for this meeting on Thursday. Frustration levels are running a little higher about this one, as all of a sudden people are interested — go figure. Add to that the update the website didn't happen as it was down… which sort of… Continue reading

Dannii is so much better

Posted on November 3, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

Having a discussion with someone about the original singing Minogue – that would be Dannii Minogue . I'm suprised that she hasn't taken off so much more here in the USA, however I guess the listening public would probably get a little confused if there were two Minogues to choose from. Sadly I think most… Continue reading

Checking out others…

Posted on November 3, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

Hey I just realized that I can check out other LJ users who live in Texas … how cool (yeah, you are all going … like duh!). There are some amazingly kewl people on here.

Involvement

Posted on November 3, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

I suppose people have the right to act anyway they want, but I just don't understand why they do things which works against a group of people. Today, we had a meeting to discuss the removal of an officer of an organization I belong to (he's not been attending meetings, or performing his functions). So… Continue reading

Progressive Success

Posted on November 2, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

What a great night we had. The first of our progressive dinners for FriscoPride and we had about 42 members participate. Apart from getting the wrong instructions from one of the online map sites, the night went without a hitch. I think everyone had a great time.

Amazing!

Posted on August 23, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

Well it is amazing to say, but I actually thoroughly enjoyed Amazing Race 4. It did help that two very cute gay men are in the final three – AND WON! – but I have to say, that in recapping some of the more recent episodes, the octopus eating task that Riechen and Chip went… Continue reading
