For those with maternal instincts … can you imagine giving birth to a 16.7 pound baby? [ Link to story ]

Friday Night Coffee

Posted on January 22, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

Coffee was fun tonight. It was a small group, but it was a wonderful evening to be outside Starbucks, enjoying coffee and chatter. Next week we will be having it at a home, so I hope the turnout is good.

Late News

Posted on January 21, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

It happened earlier in the week, but Tuesday night was my last night as president of my homeowner's association. I know many of you … hmmm, maybe one of you …. have been waiting for this day to happen for a while, and now that day has finally come. Did I extract myself completely? No.… Continue reading

Posted on January 21, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

This morning I drove a friend of mine to have his wisdom teeth (or two of them) extracted. It was a last minute thing, and organized late last night, so the idea of getting up at 7AM this morning was not something I had planned on. Needless to say as I was sitting in the… Continue reading

Possession is nine-tenths of the law

Posted on January 21, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

I never actually realized that this could apply to people, but in the last couple of weeks, I've come to realize that I actually know some people that have this driving need to possess someone. I should clarify that this is not in the “it's mine, you can't have it, touch it, see it or… Continue reading

Christians & SpongeBob

Posted on January 21, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

It appears some of the christian nut organizations are getting all hot and bothered about the latest SpongeBob music video (a remake of the song We Are Family, featuring SB himself, Barney, Winnie the Pooh, Bob the Builder, the Rugrats, amongst others). CNN reported this, so you should give it a quick review over at… Continue reading

Who is Ed Deluzain?

Posted on January 19, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

It's a question that anyone of us may find ourselves asking, though we may not realize the need to ask the question until you get a comment posted in your blog. It turns out that I don't know Ed, the late night web hopping done by the boy who plays loud music (ie. Chris), does,… Continue reading

PDA Love

Posted on January 19, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

I'm still loving my new PDA, and today I decided to add some more photos to it. In a sense my PDA is acting like a wallet, in the sense that it has my snaps of the kids (er, pooches), the wife (er, Chris) along with some suitable PDA snaps of people who are in… Continue reading

LJ Outage and Suicide

Posted on January 18, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

My friend posted this interesting story about the recent Live Journal outage. Not sure if it's satire or real, but worthy of a post. Link: http://www.livejournal.com/users/arty_au/67740.html
