Still pending

Posted on May 16, 2007January 16, 2019 by James

After we thought the matter between CCGLA and CEF had been resolved, the judge granted a motion for a new hearing on April 16, 2007. CCGLA’s attorney made some startling new claims during the hearing, especially the “fact” that CCGLA paid an attorney to draft the CEF’s documents, so they had a vested interest in… Continue reading

Yolanda King Dies at 51

Posted on May 16, 2007May 16, 2007 by James

This week may be one of those weeks. I awoke to the news today that Yolanda King, the eldest daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King, had died. Chris and I saw Ms. King in February 2006 as part of UNT’s Diversity Conference. She was phenomenal! In the short time that… Continue reading

She will be running for Congressional District 4 which is currently held by Representative Ralph… Continue reading

Posted on April 23, 2007 by James

Well after being down for almost a week, my blog is back up. VistaPages – our hosting provider – has been doing some major upgrades over the last few weeks, and while most of my other websites have transitioned without incident, my blog did appear to be a casualty (albeit for a brief moment). As… Continue reading

CM Birthday Evening

Posted on March 25, 2007March 3, 2019 by James

We have just returned from a very pleasant evening celebrating Chris’s birthday. Chris wanted to try Jasper’s Restaurant, which offers Gourmet Backyard Cuisine, and then enjoy a glass of wine at Cru Wine Bar after the meal. It was a wonderful evening celebrated with our friends: Bobby & Ian, Layton, Brian, Jonas & Corey. We… Continue reading
