Home for the holidays

Posted on December 28, 2003November 7, 2006 by James

“Oh, there’s no place like home for the holidays, ‘Cause no matter how far away you roam, When you pine for the sunshine of a friendly gaze, For the holidays, you can’t beat home, sweet home.” It's so nice to be back in Frisco. The boys are totally zonked and are lazing about the house… Continue reading

Me? Down to Earth?

Posted on December 27, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

Your element is Earth. I hate to say it but you are down to earth. Stubborn and loyal. You tend to want to nurture others and you are the one person friends always come to for awnsers. Without people like you others would be flying over the edge because, whether you know it or not… Continue reading

Christmas in the Country

Posted on December 25, 2003March 23, 2009 by James

Chris and I are spending the holidays over at the in-laws in Gilmer Country. It was a nice day, and we have been relaxing prior to the dinner. Chris’s mom cooks very well, though like most southern women, she spends a great deal of time in the kitchen. In a way I’m glad we changed… Continue reading

One simple change and the world falls down. I'm trying to update my DNS for my new site (rather than relying on zoneedit to manage my DNS, and I'm obviously not smart enough to figure out why it won't work). The fun has now officially left my body on this update 🙂

Friendster

Posted on November 30, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

A friend mentioned Friendster to me the other week. I remember something similar being developed called sixdegrees.com (which I remember “wining” a t-shirt on many, many years ago), but that is now a travel/dating site. Anyway, I've been looking more at the site, and filling in more details. It's interesting to see how people are… Continue reading

OutQ What?

Posted on November 30, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

Well we were travelling to East Texas, and listening to Chris's new Sirius radio, mainly the OutQ stream. Funny people Derek and Romaine, and the topics are enlightening, as well as amusing. Got back and found that I can be listening to OutQ on the web. It's a great line up, if not a little… Continue reading

Friday evening

Posted on November 8, 2003March 3, 2019 by James

Well it's Friday evening, and I've just finished coffee and dinner (normal Friday evening antics). We had a good group tonight at coffee … more than I anticipated given the dampness we've been experiencing today. Looks like plans to do Six Flags are now off, which is good, as I didn't want to spend time… Continue reading
