Hmmm… just checking out blogs on others sites and came across this link.  One part of the site lists all the “civilians killed as a result of the US-led military intervention in Iraq” – as of September 12, 2004 the number is 3,029. I'm actually not sure what to think about this.  Is that odd?

I have to write my second essay in my comparative religion class before Tuesday.  I think I'm choosing the topic on “What basic principles of buddhism would be helpful for the bettermen of human society? Explain. Consider especially how the Five Precepts might figure into this program.  Provide concrete examples to support your position.”
