Posted on February 10, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

I'm just reading all this “dirt” on a conservative and family-values friendly reporter who has had access to high level staff (including the President) at the White House, and if you believe what is being reported on John Aravosis's AmericaBlog and Christian Grantham's blog it turns out that the guy is a fake, and most… Continue reading

Amazing Race Woes

Posted on February 10, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

Well after sitting through the two-hour finale of The Amazing Race, both Chris and I were disappointed that Kris and Jon didn't win (*sigh*). Instead, the “they just keep on breeding” Kendra and Freddy took the first place (can you tell I'm disappointed?). For the second half of the race, I thought that they were… Continue reading

Stella Awards

Posted on February 9, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

It's once again time to review the winners of the annual Stella Awards. The Stella's are named after 81 year old Stella Liebeck who spilled coffee on herself and successfully sued McDonald's. That case inspired the 'Stella Awards' for the most frivolous successful lawsuits in the United States. 5th Place (Tied): Kathleen Robertson of Austin,… Continue reading

You can read more over at The Melbourne Age (registration required, but I have a PDF… Continue reading

Stay Close: PFLAGs New Ad Campaign

Posted on February 5, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

This is truly awesome. I sometimes forget about what a great job the folks over at PFLAG are doing. Forever the quiet achievers, they just get out and do things, while other national organizations search their navals for lint shapes that will give them a sign of which direction to head in (hmmm… did I… Continue reading
