Daniel

Daniel and I met in 1987 (November), and we spent the next 11.5 years together (until March 1999). During this time, I adventured through my twenties, which included some of the best, and some of the worst parts of my life to date. Relationships can be complicated sometimes.

We were living the dream. We bought a house, managed a two-cat and one ex-BF household, made some lifelong friends, and lost some, and we traveled when the opportunity arose.

It was during my time with Daniel that I developed my love of travel. We explored a good part of our own country, traveled parts of the globe including Bali, Fiji, Hawaii, and other parts of the United States.

Time flew by, and over the years we celebrated with a “seven years, no itch” party, and then a ten years’ together celebration in November 1997.(The sign we are holding was made by our good friend Diane [who lost her battle with cancer in 2005.)

For much of our time together, life was great! We had amazing friends, a great social life, and were happy. But in my case, not quite happy enough, and after a fortuitous trip to the USA, I decided to end our relationship in early 1999.
