We bought a house!

Well, another one. Remember that house that we leased to stay in during the Mardi Gras season? It was for sale when we arrived, and after a week of living there, we thought, why not explore making an offer on it and see what happens. Well, when you make an offer on a house that someone wants to sell, you end up buying it. At least that is the life lesson I took from this experience.
