Birthday Celebrations

Today, we celebrate Chris’s birthday. I won’t disclose his age, as I don’t think he looks anything like the number of years he has been on this earthy. His brother, Jason, and niece, Izzy, came to New Orleans to help celebrate the big day, and we have had a fun time exploring the city and helping Izzy consume her fair share of beignets.

Tonight, we ate dinner at Muriel’s on Jackson Square, which we recently discovered, even though it has been there for a long time. We always thought it was a “too close to Jackson Square” to be any good, but we were clearly wrong.
