Celebrate Pride 2025

Posted on June 2, 2025June 2, 2025 by James

???? June is Pride Month — a time to celebrate love, identity, and the courage of being exactly who we are. It’s a time to honor the legacy of those who came before us, and to stand in joyful solidarity with LGBTQ+ people everywhere. Pride is protest, yes — but it’s also resilience, creativity, and deep, fierce love. ?

At the same time, we cannot ignore the growing wave of attacks targeting the LGBTQ+ community, especially our trans siblings. From harmful legislation to dangerous rhetoric, the increase in hate and fear is not just disheartening — it’s dangerous. Trans lives are not a political issue. They are people — friends, family, coworkers, children — who deserve to live in safety, dignity, and peace.

It’s hard to reconcile the joy of Pride with the sorrow of watching rights stripped away and lives put at risk. But we do both — we grieve, we rage, and we still rise. We still show up. We still march. And we still celebrate, because joy itself is an act of resistance.

This Pride Month, let’s stand louder, love harder, and fight smarter. Let’s center and protect our trans community, elevate queer voices, and remind the world that LGBTQ+ people are not going anywhere — and neither is our pride.
