Unveiling Aurelia Dawn

I think it is fair to say that Chris has long dreamt of sitting on a boat sipping a beer or a cocktail listening to his favorite music somewhere on the water. And I think it is fair to say that I may not have felt that same well … well except for the cocktail part, and maybe the water.

All that changed last year, as we “sailed” (we used motors) up the river that forms part of Lake Austin listening to the Band of Heathens drinking beer and cocktails. Oh wait… maybe we achieved this dream and didn’t even realize it.

Oh well, I had a change of heart and we started to look at boats with the intent of buying one. Which we subsequently did. You can read more about that journey over here.

There are a lot of steps in buying a boat, including renaming the vessel, getting used to new terminology (like vessel) and building the website for said vessel. All of this is now done.

So please welcome MV Aurelia Dawn to our family.
