Back up and running

Well after being down for almost a week, my blog is back up. VistaPages – our hosting provider – has been doing some major upgrades over the last few weeks, and while most of my other websites have transitioned without incident, my blog did appear to be a casualty (albeit for a brief moment).

As this brief interruption was only a few days, I can’t blame it for the absence of posts over the last few months. I can blame many things, however not that 🙂

I’ve been giving my blog a bit of a rethink, and have been considering merging my blog with my website. This will keep my website fresh, and I only have to worry about one database backup instead of the two I have now. I’ll update when (or if) I decide to take that step.
