It seems that Mr. Delay may have seen the writing on the wall. I’ve just seen the following headline from the New York Times: “DeLay Is Quitting Race and House, Officials Report”, and reports indicate that Delay has “decided not to try to hold on to his House seat as he faced the possibility of defeat.”
