Sociology of Marriage

Posted on February 4, 2006March 3, 2019 by James

During the fall of 2005, I took my first UNT-based class called Sociology of Marriage and Family (SOCI3000). Attached are two essays submitted during this class. Both received full scores and “Absolutely Excellent” comments.

The first essay looks at some of the different sociological theories and how they applied to my different stages of my life. In a sense, this was my “coming out” essay (to the professor).

The second essay focuses on the profile of my family, and reflects on the various life choices that were made that contributed to the person I am today.
