Sunday Night with the Drunks

I have just finished cleaning the kitchen – or the dishes that were piled high in the kitchen. Normally this would be a bad thing, but I was working off all the calories that I put on while creating the dirty dishes along with some of our friends.

Brian decided that we needed to have a dinner party where he cooked.  Needless to say, I didn't anticipate that the cooking would begin yesterday, would extend into the early hours of this morning, and then continue throughout the day.  Am I complaining? After what I ate? No Way!  It was amazing.

Our guest list included Paul, Bobby, Ian, Todd and Kean, and the three of us made eight.  Ian has a done a nice summary over on his blog of what we ate (and what I will be continuing to eat for the next day or so).  The title of this post may be a little deceiving, as you may believe that I consumed beverages that put me in an inebriated state … again.  This would not be correct, as I have my standards (as low as they may be from time to time).  The tiramisu was potent (good, but strong).  Up until dessert I thought everyone was just doing fine, and then our guests attempted to walk.

It was an amazing dinner, and one that I shall remember for a lifetime (or in blog years, the next week or so).
