I just wanted to share the thoughts of a friend of mine following the speech given by the US President tonight. I think it is one of the more insightful pieces of writing out there today. I deliberately avoided listening to the speech, as I just get annoyed, so in a sense, Layton's post only confirms that it would have done just that.
