I celebrate my love…

I am so very fortunate!  I had a wonderful day today, and I like to think that it was because of my birthday. Chris cooked up a wonderful dinner, Brian made some accoutrements for the main meal (salad and potato topping) and Ian made the most fantastic tart (very lemony, and very fruity … hmmm… I wonder what he is trying to say).

I received some wonderful gifts, and my amazon list is now a little lighter. Most importantly, I got to celebrate a wonderful evening with my boyfriend and some truly remarkable friends. I'm extremely fortunate, and as my mother reminded me today, I should be thankful that I'm alive (mothers are so blunt sometimes).
