 House Passes Gay Hate Crimes Bill

(Washington) The House of Representatives passed legislation late Wednesday afternoon to expand federal hate crimes laws to include gays, lesbians and the transgendered.  The measure received bipartisan support, passing on a 233 – 199 vote.
