Election Analysis in Frisco

Posted on December 22, 2005November 25, 2006 by James

This is a fantastic tool!  Visit and type in your zip code and you will get an analysis of political contributions for the 2004 presidential election – including a Google Map of where those contributions are located in that zip code (not to mention the names and addresses, and phone numbers of the contributors).

What is interesting is the amounts contributed between Frisco zips (75034 & 75035).  In 75035 there are 33.33% Democrats listed, and 66.67% Republicans.  Of those people, 28.94% of contributions went to Democrats, with 71.06% going to Republicans.  If you look over in 75034 the percentage of Democrats is 11.11%, with Republicans making up the balance (88.89%), however the amounts contributed to each party – especially the Democrats – differ from those in 75035.  Total amount of funding donated to Democrats was 26.7%, compared with 73.9% Republican contributions.
