this i believe

Posted on October 4, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

Every now and then one of my bloggers of choice reminds us of this little program run by NPR called “this i believe.” Today, we hear [read] an essay from Greg Chapman who is located just down the road in Houston. When listening to Chapman read his essay, his closing comments just made me feel good.

And this I believe: the right story is the one that helps me to love myself the most, to create the most, to love others and to support them in their creations. For it is for those awesome experiences that I believe we are here. So I'm gay. And now, after decades of struggle, I tell a good story about it.

Read his essay. We each have a story to tell, and we should always feel good for having told it. Some of us blog 🙂
