Starbucks sees the light

Posted on October 20, 2005March 3, 2019 by James

I'm in the process of copying all my RSS/ATOM feeds to Bloglines (for easy access anywhere), and they have a few standard subscriptions available – one of which is Boing Boing (yeah, yeah – I know some of you have been reading this for a while). Anyway, on BoingBoing this morning was an article about how Starbucks are going to start putting a “God Quote” on their coffee cups next year. What is interesting about this article is that it lists many of the other companies in the US that already include some form of biblical verse or spiritual enlightenment – like Chick-fil-A. Suprising was Alaska Airlines and their placement of “baseball-card-size prayer cards on hot-meal trays” which they have done “for 30 years.”
