I couldn't let the day pass by without making a comment about the latest news relating to Australia's pop diva, Kylie Minogue. On the one hand it's sad that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer, though I have no doubt that she will beat this to the pulp it deserves. On the other hand, I've one very close friend who has had two bouts of this cancer, and I've sensed the frustration (even from all the miles away that I am) she has about how people just don't get it. Perhaps with a celebrity like Kylie fighting this, a greater understanding by younger women (in particular) may occur. And for that reason alone, this could be a good thing.

See Kylie's official site for updates, or check out the ABC News (Australia).
