Discovered that even though you don't subscribe to SMS with Sprint, they will still allow messages to be sent to you – and charge you 🙂 To stop it completely, I discovered you needed to set your preferences/settings online (http://www.sprintpcs.com/) to not allow ANY messages to be delivered through to you. I've checked and it works, so if you get those annoying messages to your Sprint PCS fone, change it.
