DNC 2004

All I have to say after watching night one is WOW!  Talk about dynamic, passionate speakers. While I enjoyed the speeches of Al Gore, Senator Clinton and Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, the one speech that hit me the most was that of the Reverend David Alston.  What a amazing speech, and what an amazing man.  I'm waiting for the convention site to put up his speech to review.

Other notable comments.

“I served under two presidents, Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower, men who represented different political parties. Both of whom had faced their active military responsibilities with honor.” Jimmy Carter (link)

“Let's make sure not only that the Supreme Court does not pick the next President, but also that this President is not the one who picks the next Supreme Court.” Al Gore (link)
