Where the hell is technical support?

Posted on September 4, 2004March 3, 2019 by James

I swear, sometimes I get things into my head to fix something, only to realize that I really shouldn't have wasted my time.

Today I am working on correcting a problem with our email server.  Someone “out there” can send a message to one of us “in here” and 6-12 hours later we might get the message.  There is no rationale to it, it just does it.  But it has been happening more frequently than I would like, and so I had to fix it.

Well after rerouting all the DNS for way too many domains, I realized that I just needed to put everything back the way it was — which I am not in the process of doing.  If this thing friggen works after doing all this, I'll be amazed!
