Office Tidy Up

Posted on August 1, 2004August 21, 2006 by James

Well after purchasing a new scanner, I decided that I needed to put it right where something else was.  So this involved unplugging everything in teh office and moving everything about.  Needless to say, I still have stuff sprawled all over the floor.  I didn't realize how much junk you can accumulate over time.  Maybe I need to stop getting involved in things.

However I have gotten most everything back in place, and in fact I'll have more floor space (once it's tidy) after all the moves.  Mitzi (our file server) is having some problems, so I've been working on that.  Hands up those who have defragged their hard drive recently.  I did it on my own computer, very worth it!  Just finished doing the same on Mitzi.

After that, we met up with Bobby (he was helping Brian move with Ian and Rose's help) at Brian's new pad (very nice).  We (Chris, Bobby and I) then wandered down to Cuba Libre for dinner.  Of course the wait was about 75 minutes (after being told it would be an hour), however the food was good, the queso very tasty.  The company was excellent.  We then were meant to head over to the Anglika Theatre to catch the 10:30 show of “A Home at the End of the World” (you know that movie that got the Colin Farrel pp shot cut … something about men feeling uncomfortable with the size of CF's pp).  We got there at 10:50, so it was too late.  Tired, so came home.
