Tong and Tommaso at the Grand Ole Opry

No visit to Nashville is complete without the obligatory photo at the Grand Ol’ Opry at Opryland (given we were staying at just around the corner at the Courtyard Opryland). Check.

Next we once again looked to Yelp to help us find a hidden gem for breakfast, and we were thrilled to find Biscuits and Love. If you ever go here, you MUST order the “bonuts” – regardless of what else may look exciting on the menu. These little droplets of tasty goodness are topped with a cream cheese and served with a blueberry compote. Just. Order. It. Piling back into the car, we continued our tour of All Things Nashville.

20150606_122150A drive by the Ryman Auditorium and the a stop at Music Row for a wander around the various historical buildings in the area. So much musical history! One of my favorite places is the circle with the statue of dancers in the middle. I don’t know what it is about this statue, but I just like it. Maybe it is the fluidity of the people as they dance, the feeling of joy that they seem to be celebrating or the fact that they are all naked in the middle of Nashville.

Onward to Washington.
