Happy Thanksgiving to All
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates this day. Whether it is just for the turkey or the tradition (or both), enjoy your day. If you are travelling be sure to be travel safe.

Well today marks another day in history. My beloved Malibu (affectionately called the “bu bu” or the “Bosley-mobile”) has a new owner. I’m going to keep the site up for a few days, just in case there is a need to go and visit and say your final goodbyes.
This guy is pretty talented, and be sure to listen to the lyrics. Addendum: The music to this piece was created and performed by moosebutter, an A-Cappella group in Colarado.
Also, the original source of this video was my friend Ray.
Thanks to a recent couple of twitter posts, I found that President-Elect Obama has launched a new website to share information in relation to the transition that will take place in January. The site can be found at www.change.gov.
One of the options you have at this site is to share you thoughts, ideas or feedback with the Obama Transition Team on any number of issues.
I submitted the following comment to the site:
As part of any immigration reform, and as a national of another country in a same-sex relationship with an American for nearly ten years, can the inclusion of the “Uniting American Families Act” (previously known as the Permanent Partners Immigration Act) be incorporated to extend the option for partnerships of same-sex bi-national couples to be recognized for immigration purposes.
While this is a personal and selfish request, it is one that would benefit a large number of relationships that exist in this country, and would reduce the number of aliens in the country who have chosen to stay in the United States of America illegally rather than tear their family apart.
There are numerous other options for sharing your thoughts and ideas, and I encourage anyone reading this blog to take some time to become more involved with what is happening in this country.
Yesterday there were three constitutional amendments to ban gay marriage across the country. In Arizona, Florida and California, all propositions were approved by a majority of voters. In probably the first time in history, a group of voters has taken away a right from a group of people. In California, gay marriage was a right that had been enjoyed by over 18,000 gay couples, and that ended when the polls closed and the results were announced.
In California, the people over at No On Prop 8 are still waiting for news on the number of outstanding votes, but at this stage it looks unlikely that the result will be any different.
Amongst all the good news generated by a new President, and larger majorities in both the House and Senate for Democrats, there is this bad news which should not be forgotten.
Well humpf! David Tennant is leaving his role as Doctor Who next year. Just when it was getting good. One post on the site suggests that the Doctor could regenerate as a woman, and Billie Piper (Tennant’s first sidekick) was suggested. If that happens, it will be a sad day.
As a result of acquiring a new car, I have an old one to dispose of now. Being the geeky type of person that I am, my “bu bu” (my nickname for my old car) is for sale, and online. So if you are looking for a used car at a bargain basement price, go check out MALIBU4SALE.INFO. All reasonable offers will be considered.
After I got news about my visa, I convinced myself (and Chris) that a new car would be in order. And here it is.
