ATC on NPR

Two interesting stories on All Things Considered (NPR) today.

First. Yahoo and AOL want to start charging companies to allow them to mail you (sort of a SPAM deterrent) mass mailings. Examples in the segment include Red Cross, etc.  Interesting concept, but equally interesting is the argument that a person should be able to control (more) what is in their inbox. (ATC, 02/10/2006)

Second.  I've seen a few satirical movies made up from existing movies to reflect the Brokeback Mountain theme, but All Things Considered did a story today on some of these.  The “Brokeback to the Future” spoof sounded funny, but I still like the Apple-themed “Broke Mac Mountain.”
