Globally! Yes, that is right, Rodan+Fields is expanding its footprint to Australia. For those of you that may not know, I have a website for my Rodan+Fields business and I just made a post about the pre-enrolment period for the Australian launch. Check it out to learn more.
So it seems my recent post about launching True Blue Strategy got some people asking, “so what happened with your Rodan+Fields business?” The answer is that it is still there, and growing!
Rodan+Fields – like any business – is taking time to gets its feet on the ground and I am currently working a 2-4 year plan for that to become profitable. Well let me correct that, it is profitable now thanks to my wonderful customers and partners, but I mean really profitable.
True Blue Strategy will be the business that I work full-time (or as full-time as I can), and I will continue to spend the 10-15 hours each week working Rodan+Fields. I continue to be excited about the R+F launch in Australia later this year, and already have some amazing folks who are set to partner with me on day one. So in addition to the updates and follow-ups that I do weekly with R+F, most of my energy has been working to connect with Aussie folks and start building their teams for when we launch. #InstantSuccess
This has been one of the reasons why I didn’t launch True Blue Strategy prior to my travels to Australia. I knew where the focus needed to be (well the first trip at least), but now that I’m back home in the US, I knew it was time. Besides, R+F has helped me with my launch of True Blue Strategy by providing part of the start-up costs so that I could be open for business today.
The great thing about both of these businesses, is that they work well with each other. Each provides a very clear pathway to travel in their success, with some crossover but very little opportunity for conflict.
So whether you are looking for a partner to help with your strategic initiatives, or open to starting your very own part-time skincare company with the 2nd Largest Premium Skincare company in the USA, you know where to look.
Happy New Year,
As you know, I’ve been in the nonprofit sector for over ten years and while I have loved what I have done during this time, I was never excited by the rewards. Recently I had the decision made for me to leave the nonprofit world, and like I did so many years ago (after leaving the Australian public sector), I decided this was the time to take a different pathway, and one that would provide the opportunity for my growth and success!
It was important to me that whatever my next step, I had to believe in the company and its leadership; it needed to provide the right rewards (not just financial); and it had to move me towards achieving the goals that I have set for myself and my family. Instead of being afraid of the future, I needed to be excited by it and the challenges that would come my way.
As I explained in a recent blog post, I have partnered with Rodan+Fields, the same doctors that developed the ProActiv® Acne Treatment System, and the USA’s fastest growing premium skincare brand since 2009. I’ve been using Rodan+Fields for a little over a month, and have seen incredible improvements not just with my skin, but with many other customers. I love the passion and support given by the company’s leaders and along with the company’s recent global expansion into Canada, including plans to launch in Australia later this year, I strongly believe this is the right place for me to achieve my goals.
To succeed, I am inviting you to help me build my business, which is one of the reasons why you are receiving this email (this will be the only one). First of all, there is no obligation on your part (you may delete this email). If you are willing, you can help me succeed one (or more) of these ways:
- take a quick survey with our solutions tool to see if Rodan+Fields has a better skincare solution for you;
- chat with me about how Rodan+Fields may be the right business fit for you and your goals (reply to this email or call me to schedule a time); or
- forward this email onto your family and friends who you believe may benefit from learning more about Rodan+Fields.
If you had an opportunity to try something new that could change your life, would you do it? I answered this question with a “yes” and I hope that you would as well (when given the opportunity). This may not be your “yes” moment but I appreciate you being a part of mine.
Thank you, and please let me know what I can do to help you decide today how your tomorrow will look.
It seems that when things happen, they happen all at once. After enjoying a week off during Thanksgiving, I threw my back out the Saturday after the holiday. This happens from time to time, and it is always an annoyance and a reminder that I’m getting older.
So the Monday after Thansgiving I returned to work, and spent it as a catch up day and I was somewhat relieved that the wheels had not come off over the holidays, a sign that things were getting better at work (or so I thought).
Tuesday I decided to join one of my friends and launched my new Rodan+Fields business. With the strong growth of the company, and the future expansion plans for the Asia-Pacific region, I knew this was the right thing for me to be doing right now (or so I thought).
I kept busy for the remainder of the week, and I continued to get my back in order (taking it slowly as I reintroduced my back to the gym).
Friday I had planned for a couple of meetings and a holiday lunch at the office – which were quite pleasant – and then BOOM! Laid off! Yep, after eight years with Big Brothers Big Sisters the decision had been made to part ways. It was a shock and a disappointment, but that was only the initial reaction. As the reality set in, I realized this provided an opportunity for growth.
So I threw myself into building my R+F business, and continue planning some travel that we had going on over the holidays. I’m even getting to the gym more and I’m feeling less stressed, sleeping better and losing weight! So the new chapter is starting and it looks bright!
