The Early Years
The Early Years represents a time in live from the day I was born to about five years of age. For my kids this age, there is a lot of stuff that happens that you just don’t remember. I’d like to say “click here” for all my baby pictures, but many of these (if not all) are located back in Australia. I do plan on scanning many of them one day, but this will go on my to-do list (long term).
I attended Seymour Primary School No. 547 located on Grant Street, next to the High School. Apart from almost being expelled for a thumbtack on a teacher’s chair moment, life through primary school was mostly uneventful. I do remember being quite good at elastics!
High school began for me in 1980. I actually really liked school. I loathed P.E. I need to find my report papers and scan them in. I think for the most of my teachers thought I was a good student in all subjects except math (and P.E.). I left high school in 1984 after completing Year 11 (or Fifth Form, as it used to be called).
