Is that you Noah?

What a day! I thought I might have to get out there and build an arc – but knowing my carpentry skills, the end result would be the same. Did it rain Saturday or what! Chris is working on a new program to “deal” with the constitutional amendment that will be going to the polls in Texas in November, and I helped him with figuring out the domain name and stuff like for that. It sounds like it will be an interesting few months ahead. Be on the look out for Texans United 🙂

Chris and I ventured out in the rain to look at things, and ended up getting saturated as we attempted to get back to the car after our visit to Fry's. as soon as we got home, we shucked our wet clothes, and got comfy, and decided that we would stay that way for the rest of the evening 🙂 We ordered in some very tasty Chinese food (gotta love Golden Moon), and settled down to watch a movie or two.

We finally saw A Home at the End of the World, which was a remarkable movie. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was, but it exceeded expectations. The tagline for the movie is Family can be whatever you want it to be and that message is reinforced througout the movie. Colin Farrell was excellent in the film. He portrayed the character in such a way, that you can't help but get lost in his eyes, and feel what he is feeling (maybe the lack of alcohol was responsible for these feelings).

Following that, we saw Oceans Twelve. It was enjoyable, but not as good as the first (I think I've read that elsewhere, but it's worth repeating).

I'm heading out to the neighborhood BBQ. Yay!
